Hip-hop from Ghana promoting free-trade cocoa beans ...

There's some sweet hip-hop dancing that starts about half-way through this video from Cadbury and Glass and a Half Full Records promoting the chocolate maker's use of fair trade cocoa beans from Ghana.

Song is "Zingolo" featuring Tinny and all proceeds on iTunes goes to CARE, which funds education in Ghana's cocoa-growing community (according to AdAge Creativity).

Tough-to-watch TV spot on the lasting affects of speed ...

AdRants called this a "horrific drive safe commercial." It certainly is a tough spot to watch, but hopefully its indelible imagery leaves a lasting message — slow down!

Warning: The visuals in this spot could be disturbing to some.

Rebranding America ...

Paper magazine asked some of the country's leading visual communicators to envision a rebranding of the U.S.

This from Alex Bogusky at Crispin Porter & Bogusky.

And this from Kevin Roberts at Saatchi & Saatchi.

There are numerous other examples that are all worth pondering: http://www.papermag.com/?section=article&parid=3236

Recycle yourself ...

This recycling bin is filled with human organs.

Because you are recyclable, don't you know?

It's part of a unique approach in Canada to get people to become organ donors. You can "dissect" a young man, who tells you what each organ does and why it's important to recycle yourself, er, become an organ donor.

http://recycleme.org/en/

It has a social media component, displaying the names of those who signed up as wallpaper behind the "spokesperson."
