Tracking a shipping container around the world ...
BBC News is tracking a shipping container around the world to illustrate globalization.

The container started in Southampton, England, in September and first went to Scotland to pick up Scotch, which ended up in Shanghai, China. A load of tape measures was sent to the Port of Los Angeles. Now the container is making its way across the US to Newark, N.J., and will then depart for Brazil.
At each stop, BBC News does a piece on the local economy.
The container is outfitted with a GPS unit and you can follow its every movements at:

When the year-long project ends, the BBC will donate the container to become a school in Africa.
