Marketers take note: Are we in control of our own decisions?

There are some nice lessons for marketers in this TED talk from behavioral economist Dan Ariely, the author of Predictably Irrational.

Pay attention to the illustration of how people decide which option to purchase based on what variables are put in front of them (about 13 minutes in).
